Why OneOS

A till should do one thing, and never fall over.

Windows tills are slow, expensive to licence, and one blue-screen from a lost sale. OneOS is a purpose-built appliance: nothing to log into, nothing to break, nothing to steal focus from selling.

Built for load-shedding

The system runs read-only, so a power cut can’t corrupt it. It boots straight back to the POS in seconds — and the sale you were ringing up is still there.

Keeps selling offline

Internet down mid-shift? Sales keep queueing safely on the till and sync the moment you’re back online. No “the system is down” at the counter.

Runs on cheap hardware

No new PC needed. A used touchscreen unit becomes a proper till — with LAN thermal-printer support and a 4G backup that takes over if the Wi-Fi drops.

Managed from anywhere

Every till reports its own health back to One Line. If one needs a hand, we can see it and reach it remotely — you don’t have to be the one who notices.
